Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley was a guest on First News with Keeler in the Morning Wednesday on WIBX.  She said "there wasn't a dry eye in the house" on Tuesday when Clayton Whittemore was sentenced.

"It was just tragic to watch," said Doorley, "one of the worst cases I've ever seen."

On May 30th, Clayton Whittemore was found guilty of second-degree murder in the beating death of his girlfriend, Alexandra Kogut, in September of 2012.  Both were from New Hartford and Kogut was a student at SUNY Brockport.
