Deadline To Sign Up For Health Insurance Is Coming Up

The deadline to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act is fast approaching.

Individuals and families must sign up by February 15th for coverage effective March 1st.

Steve Wood, Community Health Coordinator for ACR Health says if you don't sign up by March 31st, you'll face a tax penalty of $95 or 1% of your income, which ever is higher.

Wood says ACR Health has health navigators standing by to help you enroll.
