‘Deadpool’ Replaces ‘The Matrix Reloaded’ as the Highest Grossing R-Rated Movie

Sometimes is pays to be a good bad guy.The anti-superhero movie "Deadpool" is now the highest-grossing R-rated film in history.

As of this posting the movie has grossed $745million  in international ticket sales.  It now replaces "The Matrix Reloaded," which had previously held the top spot.

The highest-grossing R-rated film in North America is "American Sniper," but Marvel's "Deadpool" is less than a million dollars away from stealing that spot as well.
