Deerfield Man Arrested For Sexually Abusing A Child

A Deerfield man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a young child.

Investigators with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center say 77-year old Rodney Westbrook sexually abused a five-year old girl at his home.

Westbrook was charged with one count of felony sexual abuse.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.  An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim against Westbrook,

The investigation is continuing and additional charges against Westbrook are possible.
