A Deposit woman is accused of holding up a bank in Oneonta shortly at 12:10 p.m. April 10.

Oneonta police say they quickly tracked down 36 year old Corinne Simmons after a woman entered the NBT Bank on Wall Street, indicated she had a weapon and made off with about $1,500.

A canvas of the area by police located Simmons on Fonda Avenue.

She’s charged with felony robbery and grand larceny.

Authorities say while the suspect reportedly indicated she had a weapon, no weapon was actually displayed.
