Madison County Sheriff's Deputies were able to use the anti-overdose drug Narcan(Naloxone) to save the life of a possible overdose victim on Sunday.

Officers responded to a home on Rocky Road in the City of Oneida where a man was suffering from symptoms of an overdose.

After giving the victim a dose of Narcan, the officers were able to help the man regain consciousness and turn him over to EMT's from the Oneida Fire Department who brought him to Oneida Healthcare for further treatment.

The Madison County Sheriff's Department says this is the second use of Narcan by Deputies that has saved a life.
