Deputy Sheriff Dies Collapses During Training Run, Dies

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — An upstate New York police officer has died after collapsing while exercising.

The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office says Deputy Sheriff John Brown collapsed Sunday during a triathlon training run in Albany. WNYT-TV reports Brown had been with the department for about 15 years.
