Deputy Wyman Honored By NYS Sheriff’s Association

Albany, NY (WIBX)- Fallen Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputy Kurt Wyman has been posthumously awarded the New York State Sheriff’s Association 2011 “Deputy of the Year” Award.
Wyman was nominated by Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol.
Deputy Wyman was killed in the line of duty in the Town of Augusta last June.
The presentation was made at the Sheriff’s Association recent conference at the Desmond Hotel in Albany.
Maciol, Deputy Wyman’s wife Lauren. Kurt’s parents and Lauren’s mother were on hand to accept the award.
