Two years ago today, Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy Kurt Wyman was shot and killed during a standoff in the Town of Augusta.

This morning, a Remembrance Ceremony was held in front of the County Law Enforcement Building that now bears his name.

Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol says it's about never forgetting the sacrifice Deputy Wyman made.

The ceremony included a wreath laying and flag raising.

Members of a number of local law enforcement agencies attended today's ceremony, along with Congressman Richard Hanna and County Executive Anthony Picente.
