Syracuse pounced on North Carolina on Saturday beating the new ACC rival 57-45.  The Orange will play Boston College on Monday at 9 p.m..

During Saturday's game, Vitale praised Jim Boeheim and said the University should build a monument in honor of the NCAA's 2nd-most-winningest coach and it should be erected before he retires so he can enjoy the moment.
