Discoverer of Titanic Wreckage to Speak at Hamilton College Today
The oceanographer who discovered the wreckage of The Titanic will be at Hamilton College today.
Robert Duane Ballard will give a lecture tonight on "Ocean Exploration: Past, Present, and Future."
Although he is most popularly known for his discovery of the wreckage of the R.M.S. Titanic in 1985, Ballard is also credited with discovering John F. Kennedy's PT-109 in 2002.
The event is free and open to the public. Ballard's presentation begins at 7:30pm at the Chapel on the Hamilton College campus.
