Some in New York are calling for passage of the "Common Core Parental Refusal Act," legislation aimed at requiring school districts to notify parents and guardians that they may have their children "opt out" of Common Core testing in grade 3 through 8.

Others say that the state should do everything necessary to push the Common Core agenda through, and that opt-out programs provide statistical benchmarks with which to monitor the curriculum.

Do you support Common Core testing or are you among those who want it eliminated?
