Do You Want Your Apps to Know More About You?

Do you want your apps to know more about you?  Google Maps is expected to soon begin offering a new "driving mode" which uses the location history of drivers to predict, and map out, where motorists are headed.

Is this crossing the line of privacy?  Is Big Brother getting bigger?  Or is this a helpful way to improve the efficiency of travel?
