The Associated Press is reporting a Doctor who recently came back to the U.S. from West Africa has tested positive for Ebola in New York City.

Dr. Craig Spencer was working with Doctors Without Borders treating Ebola patients in Guinea.

Spencer called 911 Thursday morning after waking up with a fever of 103 degrees and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan by EMS technicians who wore HazMat suits and protective gear.

This is the first confirmed case of Ebola in New York City.
