Dolly Parton Imagination Library Expands

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Herkimer and Oneida Counties and the Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties have joined forces to to help increase school readiness in both counties.

According to HOCindicators.org, illiteracy is a problem in both counties.

The Imagination Library provides a proven low cost strategy to focus on illiteracy before it becomes a problem.

The Foundation will make a $50,000 Challenge grant to the Imagination Library to help expand its enrollment registration opportunities.

The Foundation says every dollar donated between now and the end of the year will be matched up to $50,000.
