Donors Needed: Critical Blood Shortage

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The American Red Cross Rome Chapter has issued an appeal for a critical need for blood.

Due to an extreme shortage of blood nationwide, the Red Cross needs donations of all blood types.

Over the past three months, the Red Cross has responded to natural disasters in over thirty states.

For some, it is a life or death situation.

Every day, many patients and accident victims need blood transfusions.
