DOT To Host Meeting On Bridge Replacement Project

A public meeting to discuss plans for an upcoming bridge replacement project will take place tonight.

The meeting will be held at 7:00 at the Marcy Town Hall and Municipal Building.

The bridge carrying Route 291 over Nine Mile Creek in Stittville will be replaced.

New York State Department of Transportation personnel will be available from 6:30 to 7:00 to answer questions.

The project is scheudled to begin in 2016 with an estimated cost of about $2.8 million.
