Double Stabbing Leads To Double Arrests

Herkimer Police have arrested two men accused of stabbing each other during a fight on Main Street Wednesday morning.

Police say at around 3 a.m. Beau Raymonda, 33, of Herkimer and Bradley Cushman, 29, of Mohawk allegedly got into an altercation over stolen prescription medication.

Both men claimed that they were stabbed by the other during the fight.

A knife and a pair of scissors were recovered at the scene and both men were treated for injuries.

Raymonda was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon and sent to the Herkimer County Jail on $30,000 bail.

Cushman was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was sent to the Herkimer County Jail on no bail.
