A Pittsford, New York man was released pending a future court appearance after allegedly causing a couple of accidents this past weekend.

Robert Noonan was driving on Trenton Road when he left the road and allegedly hit a parked car.  The log splitter he was towing subsequently broke free from his vehicle and veered south on its own, crossing the center line and hitting an oncoming car driven by Mark DeGrace of Deerfield.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says the collision caused heavy front end damage to DeGrace's car.

After sheriffs performed a sobriety test on Noonan he was arrested for alleged DWI.

Police say DeGrace was not injured in the accident.

The 2014 Woodsmen's Field Days took place this past weekend in nearby Boonville, New York, but it is not known if Noonan attended that event earlier in the day.
