Driver Facing DWI Charges After Car Accident

At approximately 9:40 Saturday night, November 2, 2013, police responded to an accident on Tilden Avenue and Albany Street.

Two cars were involved in the accident.  After interviewing both drivers police determined that one driver allegedly failed to stop at a red light and hit the other vehicle.

While speaking with one of the drivers police, according to a press release, "became concerned about the driver's ability to drive."  After an investigation the driver, 38-year old Carmella Hare, was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxication (DWI) and failure to submit to a breath test.  Hare was also issued a traffic summons.
