Drop Off Event Saturday To Dispose Of Old Electronics And Documents

A free drop-off event is taking place tomorrow in New Hartford for people who want to dispose of unwanted electronics, confidential documents and leftover medications.

The drop-off event will be held from 10:00 to 3:00 at the New Hartford Shopping Center.

Sunnking Electronics will be accepting computers, TV sets, electronics and small appliances, while Confidata will be accepting up to 5 boxes per car of paper documents for shredding.

The New Hartford Police Department will also be on hand to collect any unused medications.  No sharps or needles will be collected.

The event is being sponsored by Senator Joseph Griffo.
