Fans of NBC's "The Office" have been well-aware that Utica, NY plays a vital role in the show's background. Though the show's company, Dunder Mifflin, is based in Scranton, Penn., there's a rival branch located right here in Utica.

So why does this matter? Utica is the special site of a new commercial being shown from Quill.com, owners of the Dunder Mifflin chain of products. Ranging from computer paper to sticky notes and Sharpies, Quill has monopolized on the popular name from the fake company, to make real products for the office.

This Sunday during the Academy Awards, Utica natives will be able to tune in and see the exclusive commercial aired on local ABC affiliate, WUTR.

According to a release by the commercial, the ad, called "The Battle" was handpicked by a prestigious panel made up of members of Quill.com, NBCUniversal and producers of "The Office."

This is not the first time the office supply company has made an exclusive commercial for a select city. During this year's Super Bowl, another ad, called "Paper War," was only aired in Scranton.

Kim Niemi, Senior Vice President of NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group says, "We're looking forward to bringing a unique slice of the red carpet to Utica."
