Durhamville Man Arrested For Larceny And Official Misconduct

Marcy, NY (WIBX) - State Police have arrested a Durhamville man for petty larceny and official misconduct.

Police say 54-year old Robert Crouse, who was in charge of buildings and grounds at the Marcy Correctional Facility, is accused of stealing gas from the Midstate Correctional Facility for his own use.

They say Crouse stole the gas from state gas pumps by placing the gasoline in three five-gallon containers and then transporting them to his home.

Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
