Bridgewater, NY (WIBX) - A Leonardsville man is arrested for DWI after smashing his vehicle into two other vehicles, a picnic table and then a utility pole.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, 32-year old Quenten Briggs was involved in a domestic dispute in the Village of Bridgwater, that's where he drove his jeep into a parked vehicle.

Briggs then drove to the Ace Garage on Route 20 and smashed into a parked pick up truck at a high rate of speed.

Authorities say he didn't stop there, Briggs continued to drive his vehicle through the backyard of a neighboring home, smashing into a picnic table and breaking it into pieces.

Deputies say Briggs finally ended up on Route 8, that's where he ran into a telephone pole, snapping it in half.

Briggs was transported to a local hospital with injuries to his hands and head. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Failure to Keep Right and multiple counts of Criminal Mischief.

The 32-year old will appear in the Town of Bridgewater Court at a later date to answer the charges.
