Eaglet Offspring of ‘Mr. President’ and ‘The First Lady’ are Named
Their names are as patriotic as those of their parents.
The two eaglets hatched in March of this year at the United States National Arboretum now officially have names.
The public can see "Freedom" and "Liberty," formerly "DC2" and "DC3," grow up via the live D.C. Eagle Cams on the National Arboretum's DC Eagle Cam: http://dceaglecam.org/.
There were more than 37,000 votes.
The eagles are expected to spread their majestic wings and fly off on their own in June.
