Early Morning Bus Accident In Floyd Injures Utica Man

Town of Floyd, NY (WIBX) – An early morning two vehicle accident on State Route 365 in the Town of Floyd involved a Birnie Bus, and injured a Utica man. According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year old Thomas A. Grant Jr. of Washington Mills was attempting to make a left turn into the parking lot of a Quick-N-Easy convenience store when he struck the front of the bus being driven by 44-year old Wayne A. Webber of Rome.

Officials say Grant’s passenger, 29-year old Robert A. Snyder of Utica, suffered a laceration to the head but was treated and released at the scene. Grant was ticketed for Failure to Yield The Right of Way and is to appear in Floyd Town Court to answer the charge at a later date.
