Earthquake Felt In New York

Some people in Western and Central New York felt the shock of an earthquake that occurred this morning around Ottawa, Ontario.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake measured about 5.0 on the Richter Scale.

The epicenter of the earthquake was about 192 miles from Syracuse.

No significant damage has been reported.
