EAST DURHAM, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a one-car crash in upstate New York has left one person dead and nine others injured.

State police say the wreck occurred around 4:30 p.m. Sunday on Route 145 in East Durham in Greene County, 25 miles south of Albany. Troopers say all 10 people were inside of one sport utility vehicle.

Troopers have released the names of any of the victims, but they say all of them are from out of state. The injured were taken to hospitals in Albany and nearby Hudson.

Sections of that stretch of Route 145 were closed for about seven hours as authorities investigated the crash.
