Edmenston Woman Charged With Grand Larceny

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) – An Edmenston woman was arrested by New Hartford Police in connection with the theft of a wallet which happened at the New Hartford Wal-Mart last October.
50-year old Theresa Scrivener was charged with grand larceny.
Police say Scrivener was making a purchase at the store and found a wallet belonging to another patron at the cash register.
Video surveillance from Wal-Mart shows Scrivener putting the wallet in her purse.
She turned herself in to police after seeing her photo broadcast on a local media outlet.
