Eleven-Vehicle Crash in Syracuse Under Investigation

One person last listed in critical condition after an 11-car crash in Syracuse.

It happened yesterday morning, October 18, 2015, on I-81 past the 690 eastbound interchange.  One of the drivers was pinned under a vehicle and suffered a serious head injury.

The victim's name has not yet been released.

That portion of I-81 was shut down for several hours.

Authorities believe that icy roads may have been a factor in the crash.
