WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — A two-day emergency response exercise is being held at the U.S. Military Academy.

West Point officials say the annual "force protection exercise" on Thursday and Friday is designed for the academy's leaders and first-responders, and for organizations on the military post.

Personnel will deal with simulated threats including an active shooter and mass casualty care.
