An Endicott woman is dead and a Cortland county man is facing a number of charges following a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Route 11 in the Town of Marathon.

New York State Police say at about 5:35 p.m., the northbound car driven by 42 year old Christopher Tanner of Marathon crossed into the southbound lane and hit the motorcycle driven by 49 year old Shanon Nasoni of Endicott.

Authorities say Nasoni died at Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse and Tanner was found to be driving with a blood alcohol level of .21%.  He’s charged with vehicular manslaughter, aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right.

Tanner was sent to the Cortland County Jail without bail
