Entries are now being accepted for the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority's third annual "Trash Can" Film Festival.

The contest is open to all K through 12 students in Oneida and Herkimer Counties.

Jamie Tuttle, School Recycling Coordinator at the Authority, says In the 30, 60 or 90 second films, students are asked to show how they do their part to help the environment.

The film must also include how to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Entries must be submitted by December 20th.
