Utica, NY (WIBX) - As part of Mohawk Valley Community Colleges' 2011 Summer and Fall schedule, a training organized through a partnership with The Oneida County Lead Primary Prevention Program, is being offered. Several Lead Safety Training Courses are scheduled for dates in August, September and October, at different locations throughout the county. One sessions will be offered in Spanish.

The classes start at 8:15 a.m., and the fees range from $135 to $195. Organizers say all educational materials will be provided. The lead safety training for area contractors is mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency, (EPA).
