Ithaca, NY (WIBX) - According to FOX News, the search is over for that missing Fort Drum soldier who escaped the custody of Army officials late last week.

Authorities caught up with 20 year-old Russell Marcum in Tompkins County, where he was taken into custody Saturday afternoon - without incident.

Police found him in a wooded area near Ithaca, he faces several felony charges surrounding his escape. 

Fox News reports that Marcum escaped from military personnel shortly after being bailed out of jail by his parents, he was locked up on Burglary charges for the alleged theft of a plasma television from a storage locker in Watertown, NY.
