CNY Wing Wars hosted by local cancer charity

The Joseph Michael Chubbuck Foundation 501c3 cancer charity based in Rome, NY will be hosting the CNY Wing War at Harts Hill Inn on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 1pm to 4pm. Those attending the Wing War will sample the "best wing" put forth by each of the following contestants - Cavallo's, Lukin's, Swifty's, Hot Off the Brick, Tonys of Westmoreland, Francos of Whitesboro, Pizza Wings & Things, O Baby's, Killabrew, Packy's Pub, and Pizza Boys. After sampling the wings, votes will be cast for "The Best Wing" in the War and "The Most Unique Wing" in the War. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 by calling 315-339-5993 or by registering online at www.thejmcf.org under the Events tab. Tickets will also be available at the door (until sold out). Ticket sales will be limited to 200. Admission includes: (1) slice of cheese pizza, a dozen wings, (1) free beer or soda, and free garlic knots and celery/blue cheese. There will be a Cash Bar, 50/50 raffle, and a basket raffle. The Foundation offers financial assistance to cancer patients living in (or being treated in) Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, and Onondaga Counties. In 2016, the Foundation raised approximately $50,000 and gave away approximately $45,000. This will be the Foundation's first fundraiser to assist patients in 2017.
