Additional Information

June 1st 2014, Maxamillion McMahon and 29 other college-age young adults will be cycling across the country for the fight against cancer. Max is riding across the nation, from Baltimore MD to Portland OR, through a program called 4K For Cancer, a program of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults (UCF). The UCF is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing lives by supporting, educating and connecting young adults, and their loved ones, affected by cancer. Since 2001, groups of college students have undertaken journeys across America with the goal of offering hope, inspiration and support to cancer communities along the way. Each rider is raising funds for the UCF, Max's fundraising goal is $10,000.

Max will be riding for his sister, Meghan McMahon who was diagnosed in 2011. He will also be riding for the seven young adults in the West Canada Valley School District who have been affected by cancer in the last five years. Max is a recent graduate from West Canada Valley Central School in 2010.

A fundraising dinner will be held at the Masonic Temple in Newport, NY on March 28th, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Piggy Pat's BBQ will be served and anyone is welcome to come and support Max's ride, tickets are $7 or $12 for two. There will also be a raffling of gift baskets at the dinner.
