Additional Information

On April 16, 2016, at 7:00 PM in the Steuben Town Hall at Steuben Corners, First Presbyterian Church of Holland Patent will host "Steubenstock VI," the sixth anniversary of our historic community event (who knew we'd get away with this for so many years?) Featuring a bounty of local and international groups and individual performers (or is it people with bounties on them?) the evening’s musical fare will include bluegrass, country, pop standards, contemporary, Irish and blues . . . and in some cases, genres as yet to be defined (or tolerated) by civilized society . . .

The evening will be a tribute in memory of our good friend and founder of Steubenstock, John Brett.

Featured performers include: Alexis Loomis, Cincinnati Creek, Dan Evans & Pete Ruben, Donna & Mike (Mucks & Woolheater), Rattlin’ Bog, Springhouse, The Beasley Family, The Remnants, Too Many Allens and Wildflower. Other guests might appear (depending on the outcome of their sentencing.) For those not really interested in decent music at of any kind, the Canadian group Thumpwhackers will also be on hand.

Admission for this musical extravaganza is only $8 with proceeds to benefit the Capital Fund of the First Presbyterian Church of Holland Patent, a landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. "Steubenstock VI" T-shirts—in elegant Sunset Orange, a sure collector's item—will also be on sale. Refreshments and home baked goods will be available for a generous donation.

Come early to celebrate six years of silliness!
