The Town of Winfield is celebrating their BICENTENNIAL on Sunday, April 17th at the Town of Winfield Municipal Building on 306 Stone Road, West Winfield from 10 AM to 5 PM. There will be several events throughout the day throughout the town.
10: Doors Open
1030: Ride for Missing Children members arrive
1045 to 1145: Kids bike safety inspections (Courtesy of Precision Cycle, West Winfield)
11 to 1145: Mt. Markham High School Jazz Ensemble (stage)
12: Official ceremony with dignitaries
1230: Birthday Cake cutting, led by Clara Dye, led by Clara Dye centenarian (our oldest citizen)
1: Postal cancelation (stage) and “All In” Barbershop Quartet (roaming)
2 to 3: Antique Fun Show with local guest experts Steve Davis, Tom Jones & Juanita Bass (stage)
315 to 4: Remnant, a local gospel group (stage)
415 to 445: Stu Copperwheat, local author & artist (stage)
Also, during the event the “General Store” will be OPEN, local producers of goods will sell their products in the general store. Over 30 local businesses, organizations and vendors will display historical items about the town.
There will be several food vendors!
