Additional Information

Tractor Fest will be held on October 11th and 12th at the Farmers Museum in Cooperstown. Admission to Tractor Fest is included with paid museum admission: $12 adults (13+), $10.50 seniors (65+), $6 children (7-12). Children age 6 and younger are free, as well as members of the New York State Historical Association.

Over 60 classic and modern tractors line up for this year’s Tractor Fest. See tractors at work thrashing and baling. Climb aboard for a wagon ride around the museum’s Historic Village, pulled by a Ford Golden Jubilee Tractor. On Sunday, tractors parade down Main Street in Cooperstown, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

For people with a dairy farming background, fond memories will rush back in the exhibit of antique milking machines. Central New York Antique Tractor and Tired Iron of Butternut Valley will be participating.

Tractor Fest is a great weekend destination for families. Children ages 7 and younger can join a Kiddie Pedal-Tractor contest at 2 o'clock on Saturday and Sunday, with prizes for all participants. Activities for children presented by Hanford Mills will show them the power of steam.

Watch expert craftspeople in the Blacksmith shop, pharmacy, and the other historic buildings! All the delightful activities that happen every day at The Farmers’ Museum continue during Tractor Fest.
