Head out to the Utica Zoo on June 8th for "Wine In The Wilderness". Enjoy great wine and great food. Proceeds benefit the Utica Zoo, You must be 21 to attend and everyone is required to provide ID at the door.

Visit the Peacocks, Camels, Red Panda, Cranes and Black Buck from the East, while enjoying New York State wines and a wide assortment of local food specialties. Area eateries will provide samples of everything from Greens to Riggies. The variety of tasting stations range from appetizers to salad through entrees and dessert.

This year’s event will showcase wineries from the Finger Lakes, Lake Ontario and Catskill regions. Saranac Brewery will also provide Utica’s favorite local brew. Explore the Zoo while strolling through a number of tents housing the winery and restaurant tastings. Also enjoy a spectacular view of the city lights or converse with the Camels and Chinese Alligators along the Zoo’s overlook deck. In addition to the Zoo animals, Simple Props will be back again to entertain with their catalog of tunes familiar to us all.

You must be 21 to attend and everyone is required to provide ID at the door.

The Zoo will be closing at 2PM on Saturday June 8 to set up for the event.
