The Winter Hibernation Festival will take place at the Great Swamp Conservancy at the corner of North Main Street and Pine Ridge Road in Canastota, NY on Saturday, February 14th, from 10 am to 3pm. A suggested donation is asked for $3 for adults.

Interactive exhibits detailing wildlife habits in winter, games and crafts involving nature, snow art, igloo building by the boy scouts, hunt for the GSC medallion on the trails for a prize, outdoor fire for roasting marshmallows, inside woodfire to warm your toes, cross-country skiing if there is snow on the groomed trails. This year we will be making Banack Bread. Hot food available. Suggested donation: $3 for adults. Join us for some family fun at this popular nature center winter event.
