Ex-State Comptroller Released From Prison
Marcy, NY (WIBX) – Former disgraced State Comptroller Alan Hevesi was released from the Mid-State Correctional Facility in Marcy today. The 72-year-old ex-fiscal watchdog spent 20-months behind bars for an influence scheme involving the state pension fund.
Hevesi will reportedly head to Queens to live with his grown son and family.
He’ll be on parole until 2015.
