ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A former New York state employee has pleaded guilty to using a state-issued credit card to make more than $16,000 in personal purchases, including spending thousands of dollars on limousine rides.

WHAM-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2fjiyeh ) 46-year-old Donald Chrisman of the Rochester suburb of Greece pleaded guilty Thursday to grand larceny charges.

In September the state inspector general's office said Chrisman made about 250 unapproved transactions during a three month-period last year while he was employed by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

The expenditures included more than $4,000 on personal limo services, some of which involved rides to a local Wal-Mart store. Officials say he also used the credit card to pay for family vacations and his wedding ceremony in Niagara Falls.
