For the second week in row Eli Manning and the New York Giants let a win slip through their grasp as they allowed the Atlanta Falcons to rally for a 24-20 win at MetLife Stadium.

Matt Ryan threw for 363 yards and touchdown, and Julio Jones burned the Giants' secondary for 135 yards on 13 catches. But it was Devonta Freeman's two-yard run into the end zone with 1:14 remaining that moved Atlanta to 2-0.

Leading 20-10 with under five-minutes to play in the third quarter, Eli Manning drove the Giants into the red-zone before an untimely sack-fumble while scrambling out of the pocket.. It was recovered by Atlanta and was a missed chance to put points on the board, something New York was unable to do for the rest of the game.

Manning finished 292 yards and 2 TD's, including a 67-yard hookup with Odell Beckham Jr. The second year receiver had a monster home-opener, finishing with 146-yards on seven catches. Shane Vareen saw the bulk of playing time in New York's backfield, catching eight passes for 76 yards with six rushes 19 yards.

The Giants, off to an 0-2 for the third straight year, will host Washington on Thursday night in Week 3 (LIVE! on WIBX 950). The Falcons visit Dallas on Sunday.
