ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Eight firefighters who died in the line of duty will be honored in Albany.

The 19th annual ceremony honoring fallen firefighters will be held Tuesday at the firefighters' memorial near the state Capitol.

Half of the eight firefighters being honored died last year. One of the honorees, Arthur Stickney of Malone, died in 1942.

There will be 2,406 names on the memorial wall after this year's ceremony.

The earliest name on the wall is from 1811.
