Fallen Tree Blamed For 2 Accidents
November 24, 2010 2:38 PM Florence, NY (WIBX) – Two seperate accidents are being blamed on a fallen tree in the road. Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputies say the tree was blown over by the wind and fell at a curve on River Road in the town of Florence.
Deputies say two drivers, just minutes apart, crashed because the were unable to see and avoid the tree. One of the vehicles swerved into a ditch, the other hit the tree.
No serious injuries were reported and no tickets were issued.
