False Sex Abuse Report Leads To Arrest Of Two Women

An alleged false report to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline has landed two women in hot water.

Following a six week investigation, State Police and the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center arrested Shauna Standen, 20, of Camden, and Jennifer Vanbenschoten, 32, of Rome.

Both are charged with misdemeanor counts of Falsely Reporting an Incident.
