Fatal Car Accident Claims Life of 4 Year Old

DeRuyter, NY (WIBX) - New York State Police in Oneida are investigating a fatal car/pedestrian accident that occurred around 6pm Friday night on Dugway Road in the Town of DeRuyter, Madison County.

According to authorities, 4 year-old, Martha Miller was crossing the road in front of her home when she ran into the path of a car.

No tickets or charges are expected to be filed on the driver of the car.  The investigation is continuing.
