Oneida County Corrections Officer Killed In Motorcycle Crash

Eaton, NY (WIBX) -The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is mourning the death of one of their own.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says off-duty Corrections Officer Todd DePasquale of Rome was killed just before noon yesterday when his motorcycle collided with a deer on Route 26 in Eaton.

The 48-year-old was pronounced dead a short time later at Hamilton Hospital.

A second motorcyclist was injured when she lost control of her bike while trying to avoid the accident in front of her.

56-year old Rosemarie Moore of Rome is listed in critical condition at University Hospital in Syracuse.
